By accessing or using Portsells, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Services.

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Delivery and billing address
  • Profile photo
  • Business name, bank account details, contact information, identity verification documents, and store information (for vendors/sellers)


b. Automatically Collected Information

  • Device type, operating system version, and app version
  • IP address and browser type
  • Device identifiers and crash logs
  • Usage activity within the app (pages viewed, features used, session duration)
  • Location data (where permitted by your device settings, used to facilitate delivery services)


c. Payment Information

Payments made through Portsells are securely processed by third-party payment providers including Paystack and Flutterwave. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. Payment processors operate under their own privacy policies and PCI-DSS compliance standards.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To create, verify, and manage your user account
  • To process orders, payments, and facilitate product delivery
  • To connect buyers with vendors for order fulfillment
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • To send transactional notifications (order confirmations, shipping updates, account alerts)
  • To send promotional communications (you may opt out at any time)
  • To improve our app functionality, performance, and user experience

11. Account Deletion

You may request permanent deletion of your Portsells account by:

  • Using the account deletion feature available within the app settings, or
  • Contacting us directly at support@portsells.com

Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Please note that deleting your account will remove your order history, wallet balance, and any listed products.

12. Children’s Privacy

Portsells is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we will promptly delete that information.
